Spring Cleaning Essential Oil Recipes

Break out the brooms, mops, and trash bags – it’s time for Spring Cleaning! Instead of reaching for store-bought disinfectants loaded with harsh chemicals, make your own natural, safe DIY spray with a few simple ingredients! Essential oils like Lemon and Tea Tree have purifying properties that make them perfect for household cleaning.

We recommend using a dark-tinted glass bottle to protect the essential oils in the spray from sunshine. Another reason to use glass instead of plastic is that essential oils can corrode plastic over time, especially if they’re undiluted, damaging both the spray and the bottle.

Spring Cleaning Spray

  • 200 ml white vinegar
  • 20 drops Lemon
  • 20 drops Tea Tree
  • Glass Spray Bottle

Mix the essential oils and white vinegar and shake well to combine. Spray on surfaces around your home like kitchen counters and bathroom sinks to easily wipe away grime, grease, and germs!
